BOARD MEETINGS
PUBLIC NOTICE FOR EXECUTIVE AND PUBLIC MEETING SESSIONS

We encourage you to attend to see how we keep TNS running!
Board Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of every other month at 6pm unless otherwise noted. This does not account for executive sessions, which may be scheduled from time-to-time. All information will be posted here. You can see our schedule in the calendar below.
Work Sessions usually take place on the second Tuesday every other month and alternate with our monthly board meetings. Work Session info can also be found on our calendar below.

Board Calendar
Our Board of Directors
Our Board consists of a small team of passionate and dedicated individuals with backgrounds in various disciplines, including education, real estate, community building, and finance. They look forward to utilizing their shared experiences, skills, and expertise to create a wonderful and unique program for TNS learners.
Community Committees
In addition to the Board, our families and staff facilitate critical committees to enrich the experience of our learners and community as well as maintain and improve their wellbeing. They also role model what we believe in so deeply here at TNS - kindness, community, and love for the natural world around us.
EDUCATOR COUNCIL
The Educator Council, made up of all TNS teachers, advocates for the needs of both educators and learners. It provides input on school-wide decisions, ensuring accountability and keeping our focus on what matters most—our learners.
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
The Environmental Stewardship Committee supports our mission to care for the natural world. It guides sustainability practices, promotes outdoor learning, and encourages the whole community to engage in responsible environmental action.
FAMILY COUNCIL
The Family Council is made up of classroom coordinators and other participating members to foster community support and encourages family involvement in the school day, events and culture.
FUNDRAISING
The Fundraising Committee helps secure resources to support our school’s mission. By organizing events, campaigns, and community partnerships, the committee strengthens our programs and ensures financial sustainability.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The Health and Safety Committee works to ensure a safe, healthy environment for learners, staff, and visitors. It reviews procedures, monitors standards, and makes recommendations to keep our community well and secure.
